PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress corrosion of a recording layer constituting an optical recording medium and to avoid separation of a translucent layer. SOLUTION: The optical recording medium is such that a non-magnetic supporting board 1 is formed with a signal area at least composed of either pits or grooves, a recording layer 2 and a light transmitting layer 3. The recording layer 2 is formed on the entire signal area, and not on the area outside the signal area in the outermost circumference 1a and the innermost circumference 1b of the non-magnetic board 1. |
