PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television intercom device having suppressed power consumption. SOLUTION: A slave unit 20 is provided with a calling button 24 for outputting a ringing signal by being operated, and a master unit 10 is provided with a loudspeaker 10 for emitting a ringing tone in response to the ringing signal, a monitor button 16 for outputting a monitor signal for making an image displayed on a monitor 11 by being operated in a state that a response can be made to the calling from the slave unit 20, and a controlling part 15 for outputting an image signal from the slave unit 20 with the input of a monitor signal and projecting the image on the monitor 11. For instance, only when the calling button 24 of the slave unit 20 is operated and the ringing tone is emitted from the loudspeaker 13 of the master unit 10 and a person who can answer to the calling from the slave unit 20 is around the master unit 10, the monitor button 16 is operated to project an image on the monitor 11, thus power consumption can be suppressed. |
