PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prescription and medicine providing system which solves the conventional problem that the relation between a patient and a doctor or the patient and a pharmacy is fixed and consultation service provided for the patient or medicine reception is geometrically and temporally restricted. SOLUTION: The patient is flexibly connected to doctors and pharmacies by a network, so the patient can freely select a doctor and a pharmacy. The patient sends personal information for identifying oneself to the selected doctor and then the doctor after examining the patient sends a prescription number to the patient and also stores the prescription number, personal information, prescription contents, etc., on the computer of the doctor. The pharmacy takes the personal information and prescription contents out of the doctor's computer according to the prescription number that the patient shows. The pharmacy provides medicines for the patient only when the personal information that the patient presents match the personal information taken out of the doctor's computer. |
