PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional lighting apparatus for vehicle of this type has one kind of light source, and in switching the usage the brightness was changed only by changing the electric current value, which made the switching unclear and also has monotonicity from the design point of view. SOLUTION: This invention provides a lighting apparatus for vehicle 1 which consists of an incandescent lamp bulb 2, an elliptical reflecting surface for the incandescent light 3, an LED lamp 4, a first LED reflecting surface 5, a second LED reflecting surface 6, and a front lens 9 to which a lens cutting for incandescent light 9a is applied. The reflecting surface of the incandescent light 3 is formed by connecting plural ellipsoids of revolution which have the second focal points in the vicinity of a substrate 7. On the substrate 7 there are provided transmission holes 8 which correspond to respective second focal points, which enables to provide a quite different light emission pattern produced by the glare of the second LED reflecting surface 6, when an LED lamp 4 is switched on, from that of a lens cutting for incandescent light 9a, when an incandescent lamp 2 is switched on, and solves the problem by enabling of preventing mistake as well as improving its fine outlook by changing illumination pattern according to the usage. |
