PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic photoelectric type ON-OFF switch which makes the lighting illuminance easy to set in accordance with the installation environment and the application. SOLUTION: This is equipped with set switches 4a to 4c and this is operational from outside and equipped with an input part 4 to switch the lighting illuminance or input the light-out time. When the set switch 4a is press-operated, operation signals are input from the input part 4 into the control part 1 and the control part 1 turns to a lighting iluminance set mode. When the lighting illuminance set signals are input from the input part 4 into the control part 1 by the set switch 4b press-operated in the lighting illuminance set mode, the control section 1 memorizes the detection level of the peripheral illuminance input from the illuminance detection part 3 at that point of time. Accordingly, by the set switch 46 being press-operated with the operation mode in the lighting illuminance set mode, the lighting illuminance can be easily set in accordance with the installation environment and application.
