PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an oil-immersed electric apparatus that never spurts out insulating oil even if an inner failure such as a short circuit occurs in the apparatus. SOLUTION: Flat plates are assembled into the rectangular parallelepiped tank of an oil-immersed transformer, deformation preventing frames are arranged at positions in parallel crosses confronting the edges of end plates, side plates, and a ceiling plate, the ends of the deformation preventing frames are linked together, and spacers are disposed between the edges of the end plates, side plates, and ceiling plate of the tank and the deformation preventing frames respectively.
