PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer processor which can transfer data among plural buses having different protocols via a simple circuit and with no constraint of timing. SOLUTION: The data transfer processor is provided with a 1st interface 1 which writes the data inputted from each bus into a 1st buffer 3 by means of the protocol of the bus, the buffer 3 which holds the data received from the interface 1 and stores them in a memory 7, a 2nd interface 2 which outputs the data inputted from a 2nd buffer 4 to another bus in accordance with the protocol of its own bus, the buffer 4 which holds the data read out of the memory 7 and a transfer control part 5 which controls transfer of data among buffers 3 and 4 and the memory 7. When the data held by the buffer 3 are more than a prescribed quantity, these data are stored in the memory 7. When the data held by the buffer 4 are less than a prescribed quantity, other data are supplied from the memory 7.
