PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the positional relation between an objective lens and a spindle motor with high precision. SOLUTION: Two positioning pins 168 are planted on a motor substrate 134 in the lower end of the spindle motor 133, and the motor board 134 is fastened to the lower part of an ascending and descending frame 132 with screws via space pins 162-164 in the state that these positioning pins 168 are pressed against the side surface of a guide main shaft 139 guiding a thread on which the objective lens is mounted.
