PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image synthesizer that synthesizes an original image with a synthesis image at a low cost with a high processing capability and high reliability. SOLUTION: A color pallet 10 stores data of each RGB color component as to each of 64 colors in 6-bit. Furthermore, synthesized image data consist of in total 8-bit data consisting of a 6-bit color pallet select signal CS and a 2-bit LUT page switching signal LS and allow a synthesis memory 12 to store the 8-bit data. Then a selector 11 reads the synthesis image data stored in the synthesis memory 12 to convert the color pallet select signal CS of each pixel into RGB component data by referencing the color pallet 10. Then LUT 13R, 13G, 13B synthesizes the RGB component data of the synthesized image with RGB component data of the original image and provide an output. |
