PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically long loudspeaker device, of which the sound pressure characteristic of a high range is improved and of which the assembly and manufacture is easy. SOLUTION: In the loudspeaker device, a cone paper, having a oblong round or an elliptic sound emitting port, is arranged in the frame of a megaphone shape and the base end part of the cone paper is connected to the reciprocating output part of a reciprocating drive mechanism fitted to the base end part of the frame. A reinforcing board, which is arranged horizontally on the face of the sound-emitting port and connects the confronted face of a short axis side in the cone paper is disposed on the cone paper.
