PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents distributing method, a contents ordering device and a contents distribution system capable of downloading and utilizing contents corresponding to the request of a viewer. SOLUTION: When the viewer performs an ordering operation of the contents and an inputting operation of personal information on the display picture of the contents ordering device 17, the ordering device 17 transmits ordering operation information and the personal information to a distribution center 23 through a transmission path 21. When the center 23 receives them, the center 23 attaches digital contents including still picture/moving picture/text/data, etc., to e-mail and distributes the digital contents to the mail address of the viewer via the Internet 21 in accordance with the request from the viewer.
