The invention concerns a snowshoe comprising a longitudinal beam (24) provided with a horizontal central surface (26), and a pair of lateral support surfaces (28, 30) arranged in a V-shape, and linked to the front and to the rear respectively through wings and extensions, so as to constitute a continuous V-shaped profile symmetrical relative to a longitudinal median plane of the snowshoe (10). The inclination of the V-shaped profile forms an obtuse angle ranging between 120 DEG and 170 DEG . The bearing surface of the spring pattern (16) is increased, the grip is improved in oblique traverse, and sliding is facilitated in forward progression.
