PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a evenly regular space between an image carrier and a developer carrier of a developing device such that its roller of the developer carrier for carrying a developer to a developing area faced to the image carrier is equipped to face to the image carrier with a specified space in the developing area. SOLUTION: A ring spacer member 27 is abutted to the image carrier at the both ends of the developer carrier in order to adjust the space d between the developer carrier and the image carrier of the developing device of which the roller of the developer carrier 21 for carrying the developer 22 to the developing area faced to the image carrier 1 is equipped to face to the image carrier with a specified space in the developing area. Preventive measures are taken against the slippage of the spacer member in the direction of the axis of the developer carrier. |
