PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce relative color slippage by simply correcting deviation in rotational phase of each image carrier. SOLUTION: A detecting part 44 detects the angular speed fluctuation of each photosensitive drum by reading a pattern image which is formed by each photoreceptive drum and transferred to a transportation belt 2. Based on the angular speed fluctuation detected, a motor control part 103 adjust/controls the drive speed of a motor 41 to detect phase difference of each gear by the part 44. Based on the phase information which is detected, the motor control part 103 adjusts/controls the phase of a photoreceptor drum 1 of each color. |
