<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toner for electrostatic image development, which causes less fogging, provides satisfactory image quality, reduces the amount of fine powders generated by over-pulverizing, provides a sharper particle size distribution of the toner, and efficiently produces a toner product of a prescribed particle size. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the toner, starting toner materials are melted, kneaded, cooled, and then coarsely crushed and pulverized by an impact pulverizer having a pulverizing section (4) formed by disposing a stator (6) having a plurality of ridges (5) of a triangular waveform at a inner surface thereof and a rotor (1) having a plurality of ridges (3) of a triangular waveform at a outer surface thereof at a gap (t).</p> |
