PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for trimming electronic circuit by which high- accuracy, high-productivity, and high-yield trimming can be realized and an electronic circuit device. SOLUTION: At the time of performing fine adjustment on the electronic circuit by cutting portions 3a-3d to be trimmed by changing the cutting direction from a direction (shown by the arrow A) crossing the electric current flowing direction to the direction shown by the arrow B after making rough adjustment by cutting the portions 3a-3d in the direction shown by the arrow A, the electronic circuit is adjusted by starting trimming cut for fine adjustment from a position T3 on the starting end side to which the trimming work returned from the terminating end T2 of the trimming cut for rough adjustment.
