PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for distributing contents and a recording medium which have contents distribution program recorded thereon, with which contents can be safely distributed by preventing operations, such as unauthorized copying of the contents. SOLUTION: The information of a user is registered by a user registration means 101. When the user is to utilize this system, a user authentication means 103 authenticates whether the user is a registered user. Only the authenticated user can retrieve desired contents out of the contents registered by a contents register means 102 by using a contents retrieving means 104, the acquisition of the right of using these retrieved contents can be granted to the user, and the operation of the user who has acquired the right of use to the contents is monitored by a contents monitoring means 106. |
