PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which facilitates data input operation for receipt generation. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an image read means which inputs entry contents of a prescription as image information, a character recognizing means which recognizes the character string of a specific item from a specific position of the prescription according to the image information and outputs it, an item storage means which temporarily stores character strings outputted by the character recognizing means by items while the item includes prescription data, a database in which patient information is registered, a prescription database in which prescription data for medicine preparation charging are registered, a retrieving means which performs retrieval from the patient database according to the name and birthday of patient information stored in the storage means, and a prescription registering means which registers the prescription data read out of the item storage means in the prescription database. |
