PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a wireless LAN unit, that can considerably improve the failure incident probability of retrial more than that of a conventional technology. SOLUTION: In a LAN where wireless LAN units are installed, when each wireless LAN unit detects a transmission request from a host application interface in its idle state where no transmission processing is in operation, the unit shifts to a 1st state that lasts until the occurrence of fading is detected, and the units shifts to a 2nd state that discriminates disabled communication due to fading, when the unit cannot detect the acknowledgement from a communication opposite party, even after the unit makes a procedure for communication setup in the 1st state. The unit shifts to the idle state, when the unit can detect the acknowledgement from the communication opposite party in the 1st state, the 2nd state and a 3rd state. The unit shifts to the idle state in the 3rd state, when the unit cannot detect acknowledgement from the communication opposite party, even after the unit makes the procedure to set up the communication. |
