PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device that eliminates the need of adjusting the segment position of a sensor in a micrometer unit in accordance with a reflected light position from an information recording medium, and that enables work skill to be mitigated and the number of processes to be reduced. SOLUTION: Outgoing light from a light source 1 is reflected by a PBS 2 and converged on the recording area of the information recording medium 4 through an objective lens 3. The light reflected by the information recording medium 4 is radiated to the PBS 2 through the objective lens 3, divided into plural beams of light to obtain focusing, tracking and information signals at PBS 2 and radiated to a CCD sensor 5. The divided light beams are made incident on the CCD sensor 5, converted to electric signals, then, processed by a controller 6 that controls the output from the CCD sensor 5, and finally used as the focusing, tracking and information signals. |
