PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably reproduce recorded signals and to avoid deterioration in a light reflecting layer even when signals are recorded and reproduced through a thin light transmitting layer. SOLUTION: The phase transition type optical disk medium 10 consists of a disk type board 1, a reflection layer 3 consisting of at least one layer of a metal reflection film layer formed on the board 1, a first dielectric layer 4 consisting of at least one layer of a dielectric layer formed on the reflection film layer 3, a phase transition recording layer 5 formed on the first dielectric layer 4, a second dielectric layer 6 consisting of at least one layer of a dielectric layer formed on the phase transition recording layer 5, and a light transmitting layer 7 formed on the second dielectric layer 6, and moreover, the medium has a third dielectric layer 2 consisting of at least one layer of a dielectric layer formed between the board 1 and the reflection layer. |
