PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protic conduction membrane that has protic conductivity sufficient to be employed as electrochemical device material including protic conduction membrane for solid polymer fuel cell and practically a sufficient durability. SOLUTION: The requirement for the protic conduction membrane can be achieved by a polymer compound-inorganic compound composite obtained through a manufacturing method that synthesized an inorganic compound with a silicon oxide and a phosphoric acid derivative an major components in a solution containing an aromatic polymer compound with the sulfo group and is dried to remove the solvent.
