<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the capacity and transfer speed of a flash storage medium. SOLUTION: A binary type flash memory 2 and multivalued type flash memories 31 to 33 are mixed in a flash memory group 200, management data are stored in the memory 2 and user data are stored in the memories 31 to 33. A CPU 4 operates on the basis of an integrated physical address. On the other hand, a binary/multivalued selector 7 and a binary type flash sequencer 6a and a multivalued type flash sequencer 6b included in a flash interface 6 are functioned on the basis of the integrated physical address and the management data and the user data are transmitted/received by distributing these data to the memory 2 and the memories 31 to 33.</p> |
