PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of solving a problem that accidental discharge induces a deterioration of an image quality through such causes as that a generated space charge is not deleted as intended when trying to delete it, or as that through scanning, a wall charge is transferred. SOLUTION: Either preparing a stand-alone electrode, or providing a structure that a part of an address electrode is exposed on a dielectric substance, an accumulated charge is uniformed. Or, by leaking the accumulated charge through the exposed portion, a probability of erroneous discharge is greatly reduced.
