PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solving a problem that in connecting a top portion of a barrier wall and a front plate for a plasma display, brightness of a phosphor is deteriorated and the opening ratio becomes smaller due to a connecting layer. SOLUTION: A phosphor layer is formed within 80% or less of a height of a barrier wall to make a structure avoiding a direct contact of the phosphor layer with a connecting layer and prevent the deterioration of the brightness and the lowering of the opening ratio.
