PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect abnormality generated in a monitoring target without requiring manual operation and to immediately shift processing corresponding to the abnormality. SOLUTION: The image detection system for detecting a change of the monitoring target by the image data of the target photographed by a camera is provided with an image detection means for calculating the mean value of R luminance information, G luminance information, B luminance information, and dot luminance information constituting the image data about all dots in a display area corresponding to the target, comparing the mean value with a previously determined threshold value and detecting the change of the target.
