SOLUTION: This display device is a liquid crystal display device, which inputs image data in which one pixel is expressed with plural sub-pixels and displays a picture in liquid crystal cells via a LCD driver, which is driven with the prescribed number of bits and is provided with a memory 22, in which information concerning the offset amounts for transforming the gradation coordinate of gamma characteristic arranged at equal intervals into the gradation coordinates of non-equal intervals by the number of the bits of the LCD driver, a gradation-adjusting part 41 performing calculations with respect to the data of the specific sub-pixel, based on the stored information concerning the offset amounts and a pseudo-gradation expanding part 42 performing pseudo-gradation expansion to the data of the calculated sub-pixel.
