PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can be stopped after storage of image data is finished in the case of stopping the operation of the image forming device while storing the image data. SOLUTION: When a device stop key 36 is depressed (S101) and reading of an original is under execution (S103; Y) and reading of all of the originals is not finished (S105; N), the reading of the succeeding originals is continued (S107) until reading of all the originals is finished (S105; Y). When all of the originals whose reading is finished are discharged to an original discharge exit (S109; Y) and an image output to transfer paper is not executed (S111; N), the image forming device is stopped. When all of the originals whose reading is finished are discharged to the original discharge exit (S109; Y) and the image is outputted to the transfer paper (S111; Y), supply of transfer paper is stopped and the image forming is executed on the transfer paper sheets having already been supplied (S113) and the image forming device is stopped after all the transfer paper sheets are discharged (S115; Y). |
