PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch structure which has excellent visibility and operability of a switch, and which makes it possible for the switch to be incorporated in a thin component like a meter hood. SOLUTION: A switch structure of meter hood is comprised of a meter hood 24 which extends to a driver's seat side of a vehicle instrument panel 32 that a foam material 30 is interposed between a base material 26 and a skin material 28, a two-layered structure part 34, consisting of only the base material and the skin material, which is arranged on a predetermined part for a switch positioned at the upper part of the hood, a push switch 36, arranged at the back side of the two-layered structure, which is electrically connected to every kind of electrical equipment mounted on a vehicle, an opening 40, opened at a base material on the two-layered structure, which is positioned right over the push switch, an elastic piece 42, arranged at the opening, which is contactingly interposed between the inside of the skin material and a pressing piece 38 of the push switch and which allows the deflection of a stroke amount that is needed for the push switch to turn on and off. |
