PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a glass panel lightweight and improve breaking characteristics thereof by controlling stress distribution and stress values in the case of reinforcing of the glass panel. SOLUTION: In the glass panel, a compression stressσCM and a tensile stressσTM near a screen edge of an outer surface of a face part wherein a maximum tensile stress is generated, and a compression stressσCO and a tensile stressσTO in the center of the face part satisfy expressions:|σCM|>=15 MPa,|σCM/σTM|>2.5,|σCM|>|σCO|,|σCM/σRTM|>|σCO>σTO|.
