PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the performance of a hard disk drive without increasing the cost of a disk drive. SOLUTION: Software to be executed by a host computer system in the hard disk drive increases the approved efficiency and performance of the hard disk drive. The host computer system realizes 'virtual disk' for modeling physical parameters concerned with the practical hard disk drive such as a seek time of read/writ head and a physical location. These parameters such as command re-ordering and an arrival time reading command are used for realizing disk drive optimization technology based on a host.
