PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating and heating device of a vending machine which saves energy drastically and can sell hot or cold goods under stable temperature and quality control. SOLUTION: Goods are preserved in a goods storage rack under normal temperature and carried from the rack to a sealed case 11 of a goods refrigerating and heating device 10 through a carrying path connected to pullout opening when goods 5 are sold. The device 10 has nozzles 16 dispersed in inner surface to blow cold or hot medium to the peripheral face of a drink container according to a command for choice between refrigerating or heating so that the device 10 can refrigerate or heat goods 5 quickly until suitable temperature to sell.
