PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore the three-dimensional shape of even a big object such as a structure like a building and an automobile. SOLUTION: The attitude of a camera 30 is read by a gyro sensor part 34 and a required image processing and the position calculation of the camera 30 are performed by a PC 10. The position and attitude of the camera are freely changed and the contour of the object is obtained from a freely photographable view point. For the position calculation, the object is captured from the plural positions and attitudes, the plural images and attitudes are obtained and the position of the camera is obtained by using the contour of the object on the images. The three-dimensional shape is reconstituted from the position of the camera and the contour of the object.
