PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide framework to define a class of application with common interface model to create data center application which can be used on many different kinds of computer devices in a short time. SOLUTION: An application system is provided with an application specification language to define language elements to be required for expressing the application in a user interface model, a workbench and an interpreter. An application developer creates, assembles an instance of the language elements and forms specification of the application by using components called as the workbench. The interpreter executes the specification of the application and presents an user interface on a computer device.
