<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic element having a shape which prevents the photovoltaic element from breaking through a coating member, caused in manufacturing, installation, transportation, handling, or the form after installa tion and so forth of a solar cell module, a photovoltaic element having a shape excellent in safety in handling, a solar cell module excellent in long-term reliabil ity in various shape, and to provide a method of manufacturing the solar cell module. SOLUTION: Protection members (502) are provided at corners of the periphery of a photovoltaic element (501). In a solar cell module, at least one photovoltaic element (101) is provided between an uppermost front surface member (103) and a lowest rear surface member (105) via a sealing material (102, 104). In this solar cell module, protection members (502) are provided at corners of a periphery of the photovoltaic element (101, 501).</p> |
