PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type electrophotographic printer and a printing method capable of printing a high quality image by reducing poor transfer and image picking error caused by a dried dry roller and a transfer roller, preventing the accumulation of toner and organosol included in developing liquid, and increasing lifetime of a photoreceptor belt. SOLUTION: In the printer including the dry roller absorbing liquid carrier residing on a photoreceptor medium, the transfer roller transferring image on the photoreceptor medium to a print paper, and a carrier supply means supplying liquid carrier to each of the dry roller, the transfer roller and the photoreceptor medium, before the image is formed on the photoreceptor belt, the liquid carrier is supplied to each rollers and photoreceptor medium so that the absorption and discharge of the carrier are kept in equilibrium therein. Thus, before entering to a developing mode, the carrier is supplied to the dry roller, transfer roller and photoreceptor belt so that the dried condition can be avoided. |
