PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce image deterioration in the case of receiving EPG data and each piece of image data from the Internet besides a television signal and arranging the data on the screen to be displayed. SOLUTION: Sound data are made to coincide with image data in timing, subsequently combined with the image data in a compressing part/synthesizing part 10, packeted by an isochronous packeting part 11 and sent to a linking part 13. Internet data inputted from a modem 23, written as graphic moving image data in a frame memory after format conversion, packeted by an isochronous/asynchronous packeting part 17 and sent to the part 13. EPG data are also processed in the same manner, subsequently packeted and outputted to the part 13. The configuration information of each image data is also prepared and sent to the part 13. The part 13 combines each image data and the configuration information time sequentially and outputs the image data and the configuration information.
