PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor which can process the input and output of images using an image data bus 8 simultaneously and in parallel and also can shorter the total image processing time. SOLUTION: The time is finely divided and the bus 8 is made to use in every divided time unit according to their priorities. An image input part(IIT) and an image output part(IOT) where the data transfer speeds are fixed, can use the bus 8 with preference, and a compandor having variable data transfer speeds can use the bus 8 only when the part IIT or IOT does not use the bus 8. As a result, the request signals are always received for use of the bus 8 and the bus 8 is continuously available with no pause. Thus, the input and output of images can be performed simultaneously and in parallel with each other and the total image processing time is shortened.
