PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a promotion image in an early stage and to speedily cope with small alterations of design such as the color of a product. SOLUTION: A promotion image of the product is generated by processing three-dimensional data generated to produce manufacturing metal molds for the product. Three-dimensional data on the manufacturing metal molds for respective components needs for the product are prepared first and converted into simple three-dimensional processing data by using a plane approximation method (S10), and the data are temporarily stored while being classified by the components. Then necessary image generation and editing are performed sequentially by using the three-dimensional processing data generated for each component as basic elements to generate to a series of images of a plurality of scenes based upon the points of view of the functions, structure, etc., of the product and those generated images of the products are put together (S11).
