<p>A nonwoven fabric for use in a female member of a Hook-and-Loop fastener which comprises a nonwoven substrate being formed from thermoplastic long fibers (A) and having fused portions being formed by fusion splicing of the thermoplastic long fibers (A) with one another and scattering in dots and, laminated with the nonwoven substrate into one piece, a long fiber web formed from another thermoplastic long fibers (B), wherein the thermoplastic long fibers (B) penetrate through the nonwoven substrate and form a loop i.e. an engaging part, of a female member of the Hook-and-Loop fastener on a surface of the substrate of the nonwoven fabric, and in the surface opposite to the loop, the thermoplastic long fibers (B) are substantially not fixed with one another, which imparts excellent flexibility and gas permeability to the nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric is suitably used in a Hook-and-Loop fastener for disposable goods such as a disposable operating gown.</p> |
