METHOD FOR CENTRIFUGAL PURIFICATION OF GAS AND DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHOD

The invention can be used for separating gases from solid particles in the cement, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and in other fields. The inventive method consists in the following: a gas flow to be purified is supplied to an input tube and directed to many cylindrical channels embodied inside a rotor. The axes of the channels are arranged on a plane of an axis of rotation of the rotor and angle-wise to said axis. The angle is defined in correspondence with a pressure gradientless gas flow in the channel which is determined by gas-dynamic friction and a component of a volumetric centrifugal force directed along the channel. A hydraulic diameter and a length of the channels are selected with respect to a damping of turbulence and whirlwinds formed in the entry of the gas into the channels. The clean and dirty fraction of gas separated in the channels of the rotor are divided into two flows with the aid of elements connected to the channels and to the output devices for the clean and dirty fractions of gas. The inventive method makes it possible to produce centrifugal force in the rotor and to increase the gas flow by means of the input- output pressure ratio.
