PURPOSE: A method for providing a self photo is provided to allow a user to take a photograph of himself after selecting a background picture by using a web camera for a personal computer, and to give a desired image file to the user after processing the photograph in a web server. CONSTITUTION: The method for providing a self-photo with a user by using a web site gives a service to a client in accordance with a demand of the client linked to a web site managing part(100) which has information relevant to a registered client. The method comprises the steps of examining whether web cameras are mounted on terminals of clients linked to a main server(110) by a web site controller(120); allowing the clients to create image files of themselves by operating the web cameras and transmitting created image files to the main server(110); and outputting the image files transmitted to the main servers(110) as a desired figure of photograph.
