PURPOSE: A ballast bobbin for use in a fluorescence lamp and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve a productivity by coupling and fabricating easily components. CONSTITUTION: A winding unit(17) is formed on the outer circumference of an inner tube(11) of a bobbin body(10) by winding a coil. The outer circumference of the winding unit(17) is winded with an ordinary insulating tape to be insulated. A protective cap(20) is put on the both side of the bobbin body(10) and an under side of each central support(25) is inserted between the upper and under side of supports(13,13-1). The supports(13,13-1) are inserted to a space(26) and a finger unit(15) is hanged on a finger groove(27) of upper and under face plates(22,23) and are coupled. A square core(16) is inserted into the inner tube(11) of the bobbin body(10) coupled to the protective cap(20), so that the upper face of the square core(16) is parallel to an upper face plate(12).
