PURPOSE: A system and method for a basis trading based on network is provided to make a contract of won/dollar futures trading with a futures company while making a contract of the won/dollar spot trading with a bank through a main server. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a network(100), client PC(200), bank server(300), server of a futures company(400), and main server(500). The network accomplishes data communication by connecting communication lines among the many client PCs, the bank server, the server of a futures company, and the main server. The client PC downloads and displays the market data and strategic position data from the main server through the network, and uploads the user-selected data of buy/sell basis trading and the trading order data to the main server through the network. The bank server uploads the won/dollar spot prices data to the main server through the network, and contracts the won/dollar spot business by the trading order data and user data downloaded from the main server through the network. The server of the futures company uploads the won/dollar futures prices data to the main server through the network, and contracts the won/dollar futures trading by the trading order data and user data downloaded from the main server through the network. The main server outputs the market data and the strategic position data of the won/dollar spot/futures buying/selling to the client PC through the network, and outputs the trading order data and user data to the bank server and the server of the futures company.
