PURPOSE: A rotary type of room lamp in automobile is provided to easily exchange a bulb and conveniently change the illumination of the inside of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A rotary type room lamp of a vehicle includes a pair of supporting dies(2) provided with positive and negative polarity terminals respectively, a lens element(4) mounted between the supporting dies, having a pair of lenses(4a,4b) of different index of refraction and rotating with respect to a rotation shaft(5) positioned in the middle of the supporting dies, and a pair of bulbs(6a,6b) received in the respective lenses of the lens element and having connection terminals(7a,7b) to be connected to the positive and negative terminals of the supporting dies, wherein the lenses of the lens element have a phase difference of a predetermined angle.
