A hemodialysis port (10) comprising a flexible housing member (25) defining one or more ports (3a,3b,3c). Each port (3a,3b,3c) has a selectively-permeab le septum member (20a,20b,20c) disposed thereon to permit medical devices, for example, Huber needles (35), sheath and/or dilators to be inserted therein. At the interface between the housing (25) and the septum (20a,20b,20c), a sprin g member (21a,21b,21c) is provided to provide an axial force on the septum (20a,20b,20c) which seals the puncture created by the aforementioned medical devices. In one exemplary embodiment, the hemodialysis access port (10) of t he present invention is comprised of a plurality of ports (3a,3b,3c) designed f or multiple hemodialysis treatments over the life of the port. In other exempla ry embodiments, the bottom (16a,16b,16c) of each port may comprise a needle sto p insert formed of, for example, metal, titanium, stainless steel or ceramic.< /SDOAB>
