MICROWAVE OVEN FOR BOTH AC AND DC

PURPOSE: A microwave oven for both AC and DC is provided to use AC and DC alternately if a battery is not prepared. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven for both AC and DC consists of: a DC unit(200) having a DC input unit for inputting DC power and a DC/AC converter for outputting DC power of the DC input unit into AC; an AC unit(100) having an AC input unit for inputting AC power; and a HVT(High Voltage Transformer,HVT) including a primary coil unit(10) consisting of a first primary coil(14) for inputting AC power from the DC unit and a second primary coil(12) for inputting the AC power from the AC unit, and a secondary coil unit(20) having a first secondary coil(22) for inducing high voltage for driving a magnetron(MGT) and a filament coil(24) for supplying filament voltage for driving the magnetron. Each AC voltage induced from the DC unit and the AC unit is fed to the first and the second primary coil of the primary coil unit of the HVT. The fed voltage is boosted to the first secondary coil to induce high voltage. The induced high voltage operates the magnetron by the first secondary coil and the filament coil. Microwaves are generated by the magnetron, and the microwave oven is operated.
