PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for generating and managing cybermoney using a communication network is provided to freely manage cybermoney in virtual space connected by a communication network, as if at banks in the real world. CONSTITUTION: If a user accesses a tele-cyber-bank(300), the tele-cyber-bank requests him to input his resident registration number, wire/wireless phone numbers, and other information(310-330). If the user inputs these requirements(340), the tele-cyber-bank provides tele-cyber-account number information to him. The user selects and inputs his own account number according to this information(350). As the user inputs and reinputs a password(360,370), his tele-cyber-account is opened(380).
