<p>A meshing type automatic transmission, comprising an input shaft (300) allowing a power from an engine to be input therein, a plurality of change gears (301), (303), (304), (306), and (310), a plurality of claw clutches (302), (305), and (308), an output shaft (323) outputting a drive force, a counter shaft (315), and counter gears (314), (316), (317), (318), and (322), wherein the input shaft (300) is rotated by the power from the engine to rotate the counter shaft (315), the rotating speed of the counter shaft (315) is matched in synchronous with the speed of the change gears (301), (303), (304), (306), and (310), the claw clutches (302), (305), and (308) are engaged with and disengaged from the change gears for an automatic speed change so as to transmit the rotating speed to the output shaft (323) through the counter gears (314), (316), (317), (318), and (322), and an assist mechanism (6) is provided on the counter shaft (315) for transmitting the rotation of the counter shaft (315) to the output shaft (323) through an assist gear (324) and for transmitting the rotating power of the input shaft (300) to the output shaft (323) while the change gears (301), (303), (304), (306), and (310) are disengaged and new gears (301), (303), (304), (306), and (310) are engaged at the time of gear shifting.</p> |
