Aa amplifier and method of canceling distortion in an amplified signal. The amplifier includes a main amplifier (130) operable to receive an input signal and generate an amplified signal. The amplifier also includes a plurality of error correction amplifiers (158), coupled in a feed-forward arrangement to the main amplifier (130) and operable to receive an input signal and to generate a plurality of output signals. A balancing network isolates a sample of the output signal of the main amplifier, inverts the sample, and combines the sample with the input signal to the error correction amplifiers. An N+1, unequal combiner (164) combines the output signal from the main amplifier and the output signals of the error correction amplifiers such that the error components of the output signals substantially cancel one another and main component of the output signals are added to one another.
